You've been bundling toddlers in and out of their carseats, and now you can barely straighten up! It is well worth stealing an hour on a Sunday to enjoy a well-deserved massage at this well-appointed day spa. My favorite is the deep tissue massage, which has become a lifeline, and when I can, I also book myself for one of their Signature pedicures, with their great products and the kind of care I cannot do for myself.Egea is the "child" of a very nice couple who left the corporate life to nurture their dream: a day spa in the heart of Evanston. They imbued it with their personal touches, a lovely color scheme of island blue, and tea, water and treats awaiting in the many pleasant deep armchairs where your therapist will find you.Both men and women can avail themselves of the spa services;each in their own area of this well-planned space. Changing rooms and showers are scrupulously clean and amenities are provided.I can't wait to try the facial that a friend gave me for my birthday , and since it's in the form of a gift card, I am going to figure out which of the many varieties I'd rather book.I also found what I think is the best hand lotion I ever had , at Egea. Their beauty products are sold to , in part, benefit a needy woman's cooperative, and are very good.
